2024 Year in Review
This year has been a momentous one for Pektron, marking 60 years since we began trading in 1964, culminating in our unforgettable Anniversary Party. We celebrated the forging and installation of the Church Bell honouring George Morgan MBE and recognised the outstanding contributions of our Long Service members of staff and excellent colleagues.
We are proud of our achievements including: accreditation as a UKAS Testing Laboratory; opening state-of-the-art 36,000 sq ft Plastics Injection Moulding and Logistics facility; recognition in prestigious awards (Ann Gray, finalist in Women Leaders in Electronics and Pektron, finalist in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards), as well as moving forward with new business wins and providing critical support for existing customers. Not forgetting our fundraising efforts for Rainbows Hospice – read more below.
This diamond year has been the perfect opportunity to honour the vision of our founder, celebrate the dedication of our entire staff, and reflect on six decades of hard work, innovation, and excellence. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited for new opportunities, including our move into Lighting, and look forward to many more decades of success.
