Visitors and people local to Pektron’s Derby site will be aware of the impact of Pektron’s new technology centre, which is quickly taking shape following the completion of the steel framework. Pektron participates in the All Star Ecopoint Scheme which plants to trees in order to capture carbon dioxide. The scheme is designed to off-set the vehicle emissions generated through the course of a year and in 2018 159 trees were planted on our behalf.

Pektron was in the Christmas spirit for Christmas Jumper day on Friday 14th December, with over £1,000 raised for Rainbows Hospice. Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People provides specialist respite, palliative and end of life care to children and young people with life limiting or life-threatening conditions and support to their families and friends. Pektron regularly raises funds for Rainbows and were delighted with the generous donations from staff, which were then matched by the Directors. Happy Christmas everyone!
Pektron has been granted planning permission for a brand new technical centre on the site of its original manufacturing facility built on Alfreton Road, Derby in the 1970’s. At over 25,000 sq ft, the new building will be set over 4 floors which will house specialist vehicle testing bays, Pektron’s electronics engineering teams and other electronics development facilities.
