John Potts, Sales Director meets Chancellor of the Exchequer

John Potts met with the Chancellor of the Exchequer at a reception at No 11 Downing Street last Monday, as part of a small and carefully selected group of highly successful manufacturing companies around the UK.

Discussions included the vital importance of a successful and growing manufacturing base to the long term strength of the UK economy.  The government were keen to hear from high tech, high growth companies – often the invisible driving force behind manufacturing success – that are playing a key role in providing jobs, investment and manufacturing output that all contribute significantly to the growth of manufacturing in the UK.

John Potts, Sales Director, Pektron Group Ltd highlighted to Rt Hon George Osborne MP:

“Pektron has achieved record levels of growth for the past 6 years as a result of continuous investment in technology and a deliberate expansion in the role of global exports”.

Having celebrated 50 years in business last year, Pektron are one of the largest privately owned electronics manufacturers in the world.  With a clear focus on delivering reliable and robust world-class electronic solutions to the most challenging environments, Pektron is underpinned by a passion to ensure that our customers succeed.  Continual investment in our design, development, validation and manufacturing capabilities ensures that we provide excellence as standard.
