Pektron has developed and designed an Access Control Module (ACM), electronic access control system that provides security and flexibility in a cost-effective package that is reliable and significantly reduces the options for attack.

Our second generation product has been successfully delivered for a variety of manufacturers, providing enhanced security with features such as walk-away locking and access using mobile phone apps.  We are currently working on enhancing our access control products to bring in UWB (ultra-wideband) technology.

The system has proved popular with automotive manufacturers across a range of vehicles including cars, motorbikes, electric vehicles, pick-up trucks and electric trucks.  The system comprises two components, the Access Control Module, and the Security Node.  With the system installed on the vehicle it can then be accessed in a variety of ways including:

• Mobile phone app
• NFC cards
• Wristband technology
• Key fob
