Quality is a vital factor in ensuring the continuing success of the company in the highly competitive and demanding markets in which Pektron operates. It is the policy of Pektron that we design, manufacture and deliver products that comply with all the necessary statutory and regulatory requirements.

Pektron recognises that as your design and manufacturing partner it is essential we deliver a consistently high standard of quality. In support of this goal we operate in a continuous improvement environment and constantly strive to exceed our customer needs and expectations.

The Pektron quality policy is defined and driven by the Directors to ensure that all levels of the business and supplier base understand the importance that quality plays in our long-term strategy of maximising customer satisfaction.

Working to international standards

Pektron has established, documented, and implemented a quality management system which is maintained and continually improved in accordance with the requirements of International Standards plus any customer-specific requirements. These standards are:

ISO9001

The ISO 9001 standard is related to quality management systems and designed to ensure that Pektron meet the needs of its customers and other stakeholders.

ISO/IATF16949

This ISO technical specification is aimed at the development of the quality management system which provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

ISO14001

Standards related to environmental management that exists to help organizations to (a) minimize how their operations (processes etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e. cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements and (c) continually improve in the above.

IPC-A-610 Rev G Class III

IPC-A-610 is the most widely used electronics assembly standard in the world and this ensures industry-accepted workmanship criteria for electronic assemblies.

In order to ensure compliance to all standards and customer specific requirements, regular scheduled internal and external audits are performed to ensure adherence and, where possible, expectations are exceeded.

Working with our customers

As well as complying with international standards, we recognise the importance of customer collaboration. Therefore, we will implement any agreed client-specific requirements to ensure that only the very highest quality levels become an integral part of all the products and services we provide.

Training and development

As a business we recognise the importance that people have in delivering quality and that is why we continually train and develop all our employees. Pektron have an on-site training academy to ensure that we are working to very highest standards in the industry.

In order to maintain our high quality standards, we continually re-invest in the business to ensure that we stay one-step-ahead, constantly developing our capabilities and strive to reduce any environmental impact wherever possible.
