Pektron relocates US office to hi-tech heart of Detroit

Pektron has relocated its US office to the heart of hi-tech development in Detroit.  While still ultimately an Automotive city, Detroit has seen significant growth in the Technology sector and the areas to the west of the city, the M-14 and Plymouth-Northville-Novi corridors in particular, have attracted both automotive and non-automotive high-tech businesses.

Recent research indicates the technology industry in Detroit is equal to that of Silicon Valley in terms of jobs, number of employers and number of occupations.  Pektron’s delivery of both electronic hardware and software solutions, and experience within the Automotive industry means that this location will help us attract the best talent as our business grows.

Pektron’s growth has been as a result of increased demand for sophisticated, high quality and reliable electronics for electric, construction and agricultural vehicles.  Our experience across a range of sectors and technological applications means we can help our customers deliver to market quickly but with unique features that help our customers differentiate their product within their markets.

John Potts, Sales Director at Pektron:

“The business we have grown in the US is very important to us and we have seen serious growth.  As a company that develops leading edge electronics, not just for Automotive, but also Off-Highway, Industrial and Agricultural sectors, being positioned at the heart of an area with a reputation for new technology makes business sense”.
