Pektron invest in X-Ray inspection technology

Pektron have made a further significant investment at their electronics Headquarters in Derby (UK) by purchasing a high performance X-Ray system for product inspection.

Adding to the already extensive on-site test and validation facilities, the Glenbrook Technologies real-time X-Ray equipment will allow rapid and accurate analysis of hidden solder joints (e.g. under ball grid arrays, inner layers of PCBs, components, etc).

The addition of X-Ray inspection will provide further benefits for customer product quality, process control and product developments.
