Pektron invest in Bee Lighting

Pektron has made a major investment in Bee Lighting having identified the expertise Bee Lighting has in designing cutting edge lighting systems, primarily for the automotive market.

With its own experience in high volume electronics manufacturing, Pektron can see synergies between electronics and enclosure manufacturing, and leading edge automotive optics expertise,  bringing opportunities for collaborative growth and success.

Colin Fulford and Paul Crees, founders of Bee Lighting are thrilled to be able to establish their long term vision for Bee Lighting, retaining a substantial stake in the business.

Colin Fulford, Operations Director at Bee Lighting said:

Bee Lighting is well known in its field for cutting edge design and state of the art vehicle lighting technology.  They have a unique mix of creative and technical talent all under one roof, and work closely with customers becoming a genuine extension of their team.

Having the support of Pektron’s large scale manufacturing facilities and brand new injection moulding capability will enable Bee Lighting to develop the technology even further.  Indeed Bee Lighting and Pektron’s combined experience will be able to deliver complete technology packages for vehicle manufacturers in the future.

Both Pektron and Bee Lighting recently worked on the latest Ford GT with both companies operating at the leading edge of their areas of expertise.
